It may help you get focused on more healthy balance.  &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;For instance, this is how I would label this days' meals:&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Meal One:&lt;BR/&gt;the coffee = Sugar and possibly dairy if there was a serving size of milk in it.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Meal Two:&lt;BR/&gt;cream soda = Sugar (any soda pop I count as sugar)&lt;BR/&gt;the sandwich = Dairy, veggie, refined grain (if the bread used was whole grain, then label it as such, it's important)&lt;BR/&gt;the chips = Fat, processed carbs/sugar.  I personally would not count as a veggie.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Meal Three:&lt;BR/&gt;the pizza:  dairy, fat, refined grain (unless you got wholegrain crust), and maybe veggie because of the sauce.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Don't get me wrong, there's a place for pizza, i love it too!  But, maybe not the same day as having a cheese sandwhich?  Sometimes one can't plan the day out well, and that's ok.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;It took me a while as a vegetarian to really realize what I was eating.
